“If you will obey My voice in truth and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own peculiar possession and treasure from among and above all peoples; for all the earth is Mine.”

(Exodus 19:5)

Each one has a different idea of what a treasure is, especially a hidden treasure.  Often we think of monetary worth to a treasure, in hopes of becoming rich.  The riches may be in gold coins or in jewels, but nevertheless, both have a monetary worth. 

At times we meet people who seem different.  We are surprised that we have never heard about them, but after some talking, we find out that they are a hidden treasure.  There are artists, musicians, writers, etc. who have just stayed hidden away in a cozy place doing what they enjoy most.  One day their work is discovered and suddenly they become very famous.  They do not change their life-style, but instead they just continue doing what they have always done.

Recently I had the privilege to interview some women who live in Japan.  The first time I met them a few years ago, I had no idea who they were nor did I know anything about their lives.  They seemed very sweet and welcomed us to come and eat together.  They assured us that we were most welcome to spend the night.

We will be featuring each one of these ladies and their stories, which are unbelievable.  After getting acquainted and hearing testimonies of their life stories, I returned home knowing that I had sat in the midst of God’s Generals. 

There are such Generals in each country and we hope to begin to feature these Mighty Women of God in HIDDEN TREASURES.  If you know such a Mighty Woman, please send an article and pictures that we can feature.  It is time for other women to learn how God has been using His Generals.  Generals are those women who “dared” to obey God.  When their nations, their governments, their religions and even church organizations said that they could NOT go, or teach or preach, they chose to obey God rather than man.  They are the “little ones” who God has used to take the enemy’s territories in many lands.

What a privilege that it is to meet such women and to learn from them.  Real Generals do not proclaim who they are, but instead, their spirit is one of great humility and total dedication to obeying the Lord.
