WOW!!!  What a day!  To live on islands that are being shaken on both ends – north and south is quite an experience.  Actually our daughter lives 600 miles south of us in Okinawa and they experienced a shaking about three days ago from an earthquake out west of them.  She lives on the west coast of the island.

There is a category 4 typhoon already on our island and headed directly towards us.  At the same time north of the northern island of Hokkaido had a 6.4 earthquake this morning sending a couple small tsunami towards Hokkaido.  Another earthquake hit this afternoon.  They have warned us again and again today on the loud speaker in the neighborhood to take great caution because very strong winds and very strong rain is coming.  They told on the news a few minutes ago that we will be getting TWO inches per hour.  Can you imagine???
