Are You A Battle Ax? PDF  | Print |  E-mail

Throughout world history women have been disregarded, abused and ignored.  Although WOMAN has appeared weak physically and mentally, but only God knows the real power “hidden” in the WOMAN.

The endurance ability in the WOMAN cannot be compared with.  Many statistics have shown that the WOMAN has endured concentration camps much better and longer than men.  More percentage of the men died   The endurance of ongoing pain in the WOMAN far surpasses men’s.

She may not pick up boulders or cars, but she can outlast in pain endurance.  She may not play football, but she can move any house completely inside out and back again.  She may not be the loudest, but what she says carries great meaning to those who she has given birth to.  She may not take a gun and go hunting, because that is too simple for her mind. She is the one who must know how to take that which is shot and prepare it in many different ways for her family.  Doing simple single focused activities are quite boring to the WOMAN, because her mind was made to do multitasking, therefore she was made to see the whole picture, not half of it or only one part of it.

A few years ago, I was quite alarmed as I was reading a book concerning women being used by God.  My husband and I were on a trip ministering in SE Asia.  He was busy working and so I decided to read some more in the book which I had just purchased in the bookstore in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

I was so excited because the author was stating how special women are in God’s Army.  After I had read over half of the book, I suddenly made a disgruntled noise, and startled my husband.  He was concerned that something had happened to me.  I apologized, but then began to read the paragraph which had startled me in the midst of that book.  [I do not want to cause the author any problems, so I will refrain from telling the title or author of the book.]

The author made some very profound statements in his book such as:

“Ignorance of what is inside a woman provides a lifeline for the bigotry that characterizes so many prejudicial responses to female actions and behavior.”

“Women are different because they have not been created to serve men but to serve with them in a                  complimentary capacity.”

“By appearing first to women on Resurrection Sunday, Jesus made them the first messengers, the first evangelists, the first prophetesses, the first teachers and the first witnesses of His resurrection.  This is no small privilege.”

“Intrinsically women are not more godly than men are, but they are definitely more spiritual.”

“When women charge into battle their enemy will be defeated in the most unexpected way.  Surprise will be the key element.”

“Women have not been mere privates in God’s army; instead, they have been entrusted as key players.”

It is a wonderful book except for one statement in the midst of all the wonderful ministry to and about women. This paragraph is fine until the short statement. Here is the paragraph that overshadowed all the wonderful things that were written in the book:

“The principle of headship becomes destructive when an adversarial approach is taken to the male-female relationship in marriage.  Interaction between husband and wife is meant to be an edifying and uplifting relationship.  Those who embrace male supremacy crush women and lose 50 percent of the workforce, and in the process, they maim themselves since “It is not good for the man to be alone.”  Those who sponsor a feminist approach leave women exposed, like Eve was in the Garden, since women cannot stand up to the devil alone.   Those who seek a compromise by saying that headship is legitimate at home but not in ministry take away the key contribution of headship:  protection.  Where do women need protection the most, at home or outside of the home?  Obviously, they need it more when they are out in the world.”

According to the translation of the Bible, that is embraced by so many Christians, in Genesis 3:6, “she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.”  (KJV)  “She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.” (NKJV)  Apparently Adam was standing with her while she had the conversation with the serpent, but he said nothing and did nothing.  It is quite interesting how that He blamed God and the woman for his disobedience.

Deborah did not say she would not go to battle unless Barak went.  It was Barak the man who said to Deborah the woman, “If you will go with me, then I will go; but if you will not go with me, I will not go.”

Deborah then said, “I will surely go with you; nevertheless, the trip you take will not be for your glory, for the Lord will sell Sisera into the hand of a woman.  Jael, a woman, went out and met face to face with the enemy, Sisera.  She fearlessly invited him into her tent and gave him something to drink.  She knew how to make him comfortable to the point he laid down and went to sleep and she even covered him with a rug.  She was alone with this enemy who had been so very powerful with his army.  She knew exactly what to do.  She didn’t hesitate to take a tent pin and a hammer and gently approached him.  She fiercely drove the pin through his temple and into the ground.  She faced the enemy alone. She outwitted the enemy.  She defeated the enemy.

Satan is intimidated by that hidden power and strength in the WOMAN.  Why do you think that women are being abused in every way possible?  Why do you think that women are hated?  Satan hates that endurance that was designed in the WOMAN.  If she did not have that endurance, she would never birth a child. God designed and made the WOMAN for such a time as this.  It is time for each WOMAN to realize her potential, strength and ability to stand in this hour.

Psalm 68:11 (AMP)

The Lord gives the word of power; the women who bear

and publish the news are a great host.

 Jeremiah 51:20 (AMP)

You are My battle-ax or maul and weapon of war—for with you

I break nations in pieces, with you I destroy kingdoms.
