In God’s Army there
is no place for even one warrior to be passive.
Throughout the Bible we are told to “Go up and possess the land.” Commands of action are given to God’s people. You cannot be passive when the commands
are: Go!
Arise! Awake! Take back!
Possess the land! Redeem the
land! Fight! Praise!
Worship! Glorify! Clap your hands! Dance unto the Lord! Bring your tithes into
the storehouse of God! Give! Bless the Lord! Bless others!
Bless your enemies! Love one
another! Kneel down! Lift your hands! Bow your heads! Shout!
Cry out!
There is not one
command that allows you or me to be passive.
God loved the world so much that He sent His Son. Jesus didn’t just sit on His throne in
Heaven, but He came. Jesus walked the
earth ministering to the hurting and sick.
He healed, He delivered and He raised the dead. He then told us to go do what He had
done. It is not optional, but He said it
very clearly. He commanded us to
Go! Teach! Preach!
Heal the sick! Cast out demons!
Here are some
acronyms that give us insight to the true meaning of “passive”.
